Indian Media look like Porno SitesIt is unfortunate that a number of Indian newspapers, journals and television media as well as cinemas look like porno sites, publishing the photographs and scenes of women inadequately dressed in all kinds of postures, under one pretext or the other. Even the established newspapers like Times of India, Economic Times, Indian Express have no hesitation in publishing such photographs. They seem to be interested in writing about sex oriented subjects, unmindful of the consequences in the minds of the readers. The fall in the standards of Indian journalism and editors behind the journals causes concern. It is high time that the Government should interfere in the matter and put some sort of censorship about publishing such photographs and articles that ultimately cause insecurity for women in public life and harm the image of women in the society. Newspapers and media have to play reasonable role and they cannot resort to any method to increase the sales and gain income. Journalists and editors should have better standards in mind and understanding of the issues.
